I d not disagree with you. It would not require all elites/politicians to support the UK view but a reasonably large proportion. Many are probably unaware currently.

Should not the EU declare their plans and intentions and then seek permission to carry them out within the UK and give the UK the Opportunity and acknowledge the right of the UK to insist on modifications to the plans if it requires?
